OUR ACTIVITIES:
Our activity star: A Course of tasting
will allow to begin in the knowledge of wines making. A wine
expert will surprise with a course of initiation to the tasting
and a visit to the warehouses of the zone. For the most bold,
descendant until the heart of the medieval warehouses and plate
tasting of the zone and wines of the villa.
The hotel offers to enjoy a barbecue of “chuletas”
of lamb “al sarmiento” or to know
the tricks of the roasted one to the furnace firewood.
Harvesting of mushrooms and fungi: from March
to November the Hotel counts on expert guides who will accompany
to the most fruitful zones to them where to collect níscalos,
mushrooms of thistle, moradillas, fungi.. and to taste later,
if desired, in the dining room of the hotel.

In Villa de Peñaranda:
In the heart of the Ribera del Duero of Burgos it will be able
to visit: Medieval castle, Ducal Palace, Abbatial Colegiata,
the old Ximeno Pharmacy of century XVII, the old Hospital of
the Mercy, the Blacksmith shop, a network of underground warehouses...
20 meters away of the Hotel is located the swimming
pool of the villa, within the own ducal palace, where
to enjoy the rest and impressive views to the medieval castle.

June to September it will be able to enjoy
the cultural festivals of the villa,
with theater, opera, dance, concerts, of great national
and international artists, who are celebrated in the ducal
palace, the colegiata or the Plaza Mayor. We facilitated
the entrances for these events.
In the month of August it will be able to participate,
to contemplate or to enjoy the multiple contests at national
level that the city council of the villa organizes, it
is possible to emphasize the fast painting contest.

The medieval weddings are translated in a
great celebration for all the one in the villa by its color
and by the generosity of their people.
The scenic art also has its hollow in documentary
and films that are rolled in the villa for the benefits of the
eyes that contemplate them.

The Hotel is an strategically important point to initiate each
morning any of the tourist itineraries of the manifold that
offers the region.
